Historical Background

ITHABEGO Girls Academy is originally from a faith based background of Soul Winners Church whose teaching challenges its followers to be owners of business and companies. It is the brief of the founder of soul winners church, Bishop Maurice Katema that christians need to do something that God can use to bless their lives. It is agaist this background that the founder of Ithabego Girls Academy bithed the idea of opening Ithabego Girls Academy to groom girls into leadership positions.

The directoris herself a teacher by professional, holds a masters of education in policy, planning and leadership of chancellor colledge

Girsl school was schosen to give girls such education that would enable them become future leaders having the director herself as a role model to them.
